What can I say about the past year?
Were there any good news?
Gas prices went down, and will continue to. On the other hand, that’s because the OPEC, led by Saudi Arabia, are deliberately depressing prices so as to destroy the U.S. oil industry. So, I’m not sure that low gas prices really constitute good news.
The bad news were plenty, but none as horrible as the betrayal by the Republican Party.
Despite the GOP being elected to a majority of both House and Senate in 2014, Republicans sold us out by ending the year with passing the omnibus spending bill that gives Obama everything he wants by funding:
- Resettling Syrian and other Middle East “refugees,” who are overwhelmingly Muslim and bringing the terrible flesh-eating leishmaniasis disease into America.
- Planned Parenthood, despite all the undercover videos revealing the nationwide abortion mill’s venal murderous ways, with PP officials haggling over the price of unborn baby parts and discussing illegal partial-birth abortions.
- Amnesty for illegals, who are pouring across our southern border in even larger numbers, as well as sanctuary cities and the release of criminal aliens.
- Massive increase in H-2B visas for foreign labor used to displace American workers.
- Obama’s climate change agenda.
What’s the point of having two political parties?
Disappointing though the past year has been, we simply must keep our fighting spirits up because 2016 is an election year. So let’s help each other. Agree?
