Happy New Year and welcome to 2015!!
I'm not one for New Years Resolutions or any of that New Year New Me nonsense, but I do have some things on the blogging and personal front that I would like to do this year and that I am looking forward to.
1. Celebrating some milestonesMy blog turns two in March which I am so happy about, it really doesn't seem like it has been that long! I hope to organize a little giveaway to celebrate and as a way to thank everyone who pops by for a read. The other big milestone this year is a personal one, and that is I turn 40- I know I know I don't look a day over 21!! Again I want to sort out a giveaway to celebrate being fabulous at 40!
2. YouTubeI do have a YouTube channel but I really want to do more with it this year, so if you have any suggestions for videos then please let me know. I also need to get to grips with editing videos and adding graphics as this isn't something I have ever done- wish me luck!
3. PhotographyI treated myself to a new camera and tripod in the sales and whilst I haven't gone down the full DSLR route (I went for a bridge camera instead) it is still a huge step up from what I was using. I want to try and take better photos of my outfits this year and just generally learn to take better photos!
4.Skincare and Make UpSince I started blogging I have re-ignited my love for make up but I need to learn to actually use it properly! I have invested in some new make up brushes in the sale, decent storage and now I need to just experiment! I also want to take better care of my skin as I have been guilty in the past of forgetting to take my make up off at night (I know I know!). I discovered Micellar Water last year and that has been a huge turning point and my skin is much better since I started using it and with me turning 40 this year I know I need to be kind to my skin!
5. Wearing all my clothes!I think it is fair to say I have a lot of clothes but then I am a fashion blogger so it goes with the territory but I don't wear some of them as much as I should. I just think life is too short to not wear a fabulous outfit each day so intend to do 2015 in style!!
So there you have it I hope 2015 is good to everyone and I look forward to seeing what this year brings!
