Last Mother’s Day I was home with a week-old baby, soaking up his every coo and sigh. It feels like so much has changed since then, and yet, nothing has really changed at all. I’m still here, still soaking it up. Every laugh, every smile, every peekaboo.
Happy mother’s day, mommas. I hope your day is filled with sunshine and flowers and breakfast in bed and maybe, just maybe, a nap.
