Happy Halloween!

By Hollyshaun0528 @TwinglesMom42
I just love Halloween. I think it's one of the most enjoyable aspects of my culture. When I was a kid, I loved going trick-or-treating and now that I have children of my own, I love to take them trick-or-treating!
They looked so darn cute tonight! Although, I must admit that I was a little saddened when the twins were not interested in matching costumes this year. I got over it pretty quickly, however, once I saw them all dressed up in the costumes they chose all by themselves.
Kyden was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle: Raphael...as much as he puts my patience to the test, he is truly a child after my own heart! This mommy is still known to wear TMNT t-shirts on occasion.
Happy Halloween!I was so proud when strangers would comment, "Look, here comes a Ninja Turtle!" and Ky would respond by elaborating, "Yeah, I'm Raphael!"
Acacia went as Princess Tiana from The Princess and the Frog. She was so thrilled to be a princess, but since the dress was green, everyone thought she was Tinkerbell. Poor thing corrected just about every person she met. She kept a positive attitude though. I think it helped that everyone also told her how beautiful she was!
Happy Halloween! Finally, my little man went as Tow Mater from Cars. That shaggy hair of his, curling out from under his hat, actually really helped him fit the part in my opinion. It was nearly impossible to get a good picture of him tonight so this one I snuck when he didn't expect turned out to be the best one...
Happy Halloween! We headed out early (about a quarter to 6pm) and finished about an hour later. The kids got more than enough candy to last quite sometime! I like that my kids are still little enough to go out early. Once the big kids come out, things get a little too wild for my taste.
I hope you all had a very safe and Happy Halloween!!
Happy Halloween!
