Yes, that’s right! My blog turns 3 years old TODAY! That’s amazing & insane at the same time! My blogging journey has been a bit rocky this past year…there were lots of reading and blogging slumps, and I’ve actually thought about quitting due to being busy at school, but I’m really happy that I decided to stay. I’ve changed as a blogger and reader during my first year of blogging and have learned a lot. I used to be a blogger who signed up to all blog tours and accepted all review requests because I didn’t want to hurt any of the authors’ feelings by not accepting their request, but I have learned that I shouldn’t force myself to read every book and there’s nothing wrong with saying no. Know your limits and don’t overwhelm yourself with books. Also, I used to be jealous of other people who got ARCs and blogs that got a lot of comments + followers but throughout my blogging journey, I learned that being jealous will make your bloggy experience less fun since you’re constantly thinking you have to get to “the top”. I am so glad I decided to start blogging because it introduced me to other great books I don’t think I would have picked up if I wasn’t blogging. Also, I got to know YOU guys! You’re one of the reasons why I blog and I love interacting with everyone on Twitter. This community rocks and I hope it stays that way. I just want to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU THANK YOU, to my readers, followers, other bloggers, booktubers, and authors. You are all amazing and without you guys there wouldn’t be Little Book Star.
