“An ill-timed storm on Christmas Eve buries the residents of Gracetown under multiple feet of snow and causes quite a bit of chaos. One brave soul ventures out into the storm from her stranded train and sets off a chain of events that will change quite a few lives. Over the next three days one girl takes a risky shortcut with an adorable stranger, three friends set out to win a race to the Waffle House (and the hash brown spoils), and the fate of a teacup pig falls into the hands of a lovesick barista.”

Let It Snow was such a fantastic read! If you’re looking for a fun contemporary read during Christmas, this is the one! It has 3 different stories that takes place in the same town and I really enjoyed all of them. The characters felt so real and I really liked how we get to see them all together during the last story. Although I connected with the characters, some of the stuff that happens weren’t really realistic. I think this might bother other readers, but I was perfectly fine with it. Before I was going into this book, I was just expecting a nice & funny contemporary read that took place during Christmas and that is exactly what I got. This is one of those books that you’ll read in one sitting with your PJ’s on & drinking hot chocolate.

There were definitely a lot of crazy stuff that happens in this book especially the third story and I couldn’t help but laugh out loud. The stories just revolve around high school romances, busting out missions while parents weren’t at home/arrested, etc. It was just hilarious. I could also see myself and my friends in some of the characters in this book. Overall this is the perfect read during the winter season. I highly recommend you to read it if you’re in the mood for a light and fun read.
