Happiness is one of life's great goals but too often we actually make it a pursuit when in fact  happiness should not be dependent on the outcome of certain events. While this type of focus helps us strive for more, it can also lead to a belief that happiness can only be attained  through completing accomplishments or acquiring certain things. This can lead to a preoccupation with wanting more so that we are no longer satisfied with what we already have which takes our attention away from the beauty of present moments and everyday joy.
The little things which we might take for granted at times are often the biggest things and the ones which truly make life worth living. Here’s to appreciating the little things. This is my list of 20 things that make me happy…
