Leona and James are a fantastic couple. I actually only met them 3 days before the wedding and knew immediately that it would be a fun wedding. It was such a sunny day and Hampton Court Palace was the perfect venue. Leona got ready across the road with lots of family, friends, bridesmaids and flower girls to help. There was a real air of excitement. It was quite a site to see Leona and the whole entourage cross the road and walk down the main path to the Palace.
The ceremony was held in the The Little Banqueting House which has an amazing roof. The ceremony was full of laughter and tears in equal measures. Both James and Leona seemed incredibly happy. After the ceremony, there was a drinks reception in the walled garden followed by a tour of the palace for the guests. The relaxed atmosphere continued into the evening as the formal dinner was replaced with an outdoor hog roast and speeches on the lawn.
The first dance was sung by Leona’s friend which was a lovely touch and the evening continued with guests singing with the pianist. Here is a small selection of images from their wedding. Feel free to comment, share, etc.
