In the hopes of earning more market share, Microsoft is now bringing their biggest gun to the battle. A new Halo game titled Halo: Spartan Assault is now heading over exclusively to Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8.
The game has been made to go along with both hardcore-halo gamers and newbies. And this time, they’ve made a huge change in the game, Halo: Spartan Assault will let you play from a top-down view instead of the first person. It also includes 25 missions, 40 in-game achievements / medals, challenges and a lot more.
As the Windows team pointed it out, Spartan Assault has been “designed to work hand-in-hand with Windows”. Which means that while you’er playing the game on your PC, you can switch to your Windows Phone to pick-up from where you’ve left off.
New Halo game will keep all the fans busy while Microsoft prepares the Steven Spielberg-directed, live-action Halo TV series for Xbox Live.
Halo: Spartan Assault will be released in this July with $6.99 price tag.
