Your go-to guide to get flawless locks this year!
Boho waves:
Carefree, barely-there waves matched to your floral dresses and leather jackets. Pair your soft curls with pastel pink lips and brown liners for a complete boho chic look.
The new ponytail:
This year, ponytails get a classy upgrade. They are sleek, neat and a tad more formal then they were previously known to be. Wear this do to work with your pinstripe suit and high heels to embody the modern working gal attire.
Rope braids:
Even the classic braids undergo a major change this season. For a perfect off- duty hairdo opt for a fun rope braid; it's a fun way to replace the classic plaits. Wear this with a light chambray shirt, printed pants and plimsolls.
Fresh from a swim:
If we've learnt anything from the runways this season we know it's all about the effortless sleek, shiny hair with varied in degrees of wetness, going from lightly gelled to slicked-down, a la fresh out of the water. For a formal night out, part it down the middle, comb it back or pull it up in a tight bun.
I love this style because it blends in a perfect mix of hipster and chic. Traditionally, it involves a donut-shaped bun that you roll into your hair, but if you're blessed with thick hair simply tie a high bun. It's easier and just as stylish.
