Hi Gorgeous! We all know that in society everyone wants things quick, fast and easy from food to shopping. Vending machines carry everything you could think of so why not hair weave? Yes you read that right hair weave?
Mane Vending is the brainchild of Marcella Ellis, owner of Marcella Ellis Hair Studios and Marcella Ellis School of Cosmetic Arts in Fairfax, Virgina. Ellis’ goal was not only to provide women with convenience when it comes to their hair choices but to also retain revenue in the Black community.
“Having been in the hair extension industry for over 20 years, my goal in creating The Mane Vendor was to empower hair salons owners nationwide, bringing the supply of hair extensions back into the salon,” said Ellis. “In addition to keeping the revenues earned from hair extensions within our local communities, it will also improve the customer’s experience. No longer will they need to travel to hair supply stores to purchase their extensions before coming to the salon.”
This is the most interesting thing I have heard in a long time but I honestly think it’s a good idea and can benefit a lot of people–I mean the hair industry is a billion dollar business.
