After three months of neglect, I'm finally taking care of my hair again. Here's what I'm doing and how I'm doing it!
When our new house was in heavy construction, I had to cram into M's petite apartment and put most of my stuff in storage. For the past three months I lived out of my suitcase and overlooked a few things like taking care of my hair. Every morning, I'd put it up in a bun and forget about it for the rest of the day. Needless to say, my neglect took its toll as when I finally let my hair down after moving day, it was lifeless and in need of heavy duty TLC.
I went to Target to seek answers and to refresh my shower routine. The Caress Mystique Forever body wash has been a total game changer as it's the world's only body wash with 12 hour fragrance touch technology which means every time I touch my skin, it releases fragrance! I also love the sleek packaging which elicits all sorts of shower appropriate sexy vibes.
For my hair, I've been treating it with the TRESemme Botanique shampoo and conditioner. The coconut infused (smells amazing!) formulation provides top notch hydration while gently cleansing without weighing down my hair. For a super smooth and soft natural look, I wrap my hair in a towel until it's 90% dry. Then I flip my hair to the front and blow dry just the front to tone down the volume and create a smoother finish. Once dry, I part my hair in the middle and spritz the TRESemme Botanique hydrating mist all over for a boost of shine and softness. Then I brush through my hair using the Paul Mitchel Express Ion Stylewand. It's basically a flat iron, curling iron, and hair brush in one and helps to get rid of tangles while creating ultra smooth and soft to the touch texture. One more spritz of the hydrating mist and I've officially breathed life back into my hair again!
