Hackers Attack Kickstarter to Access Customer Data

“While no credit card data was accessed, some information about our customers was. Accessed information included usernames, email addresses, mailing addresses, phone numbers, and encrypted passwords,” Yancey Strickler, CEO of Kickstarter stated in its email.

While actual passwords for the account still remain hidden, it shouldn’t take long for these hackers use their methods to figure out your password. Kickstarter strongly suggests that you reset password to your account, especially if you use the same password with several services.
