Guns Kill

The shooter might be a witness to the murder.  He might even be tried as an accomplice to the murder.  But he shouldn’t be indicted as the killer or primary defendant if the gun did the killing.

If “guns kill,” then the next time you shoot somebody, just throw the gun down next to the victim’s body to make it easy for the cops to catch the “killer” and close the case. Go home and buy a new gun.
