Hellooo shimmers,
Please give a warm welcome to our guest blogger Stephanie :)
-----------------------------------------------
HI everyone my name is steph aka welshbeautyblogger i am doing this post as a guest blogger for Laura on my top 5 products which i couldn't live without, so lets get started.
Mac Studio Sculpt concealer:
I use this in the color NC15 which is the perfect color for my pale colouring, the texture is quite thick compared to other mac concealer's but is very opaque in consistency.
This concealer is great for covering my dark under eye circles and and for any blemishes and it wears really well; i apply the concealer at 6.30am before work and it still looks amazing at 6pm.
The best way I find to apply is with your fingers because it warms it up and then it blends so smoothly. This is definitely a full coverage concealer with a beautiful matte finish. I don't think the price is that much of an issue for me, as i've had this pot for a couple of months now and i'm only just beginning to make a dent.
Opi Nail Envy:
I have tried many different nail strengtheners in the past but I never felt that they really made a difference, I was very sceptical that layering what is essentially a clear nail polish on your nails could possible have any strengthening properties. That is why although I have seen quite a few people rave about O.P.I's Nail Envy, I never tried it myself, £18.50 seemed a ridiculous price to pay for something that might not work. However, I took the plunge when I spotted O.P.I Original Nail Envy on BuyaPowa at just £8.50.
You use it by painting two layers on to clean nails, and then adding another layer over the top every other day for one week. When the week has passed, you remove it all and start again. The packaging also says that you can wear this under your regular nail polish.
This has to be my go to product when ever i wear nail polish.
Clinique Chubby stick
They are an oversized retractable crayon lip balm which remind me of children's colouring pencils, they contain Shea Butter and Mango which is really moisturizing.
They are currently available in 16 different shades but my favorite is chunky cherry, they give you a sheer wash of color and are easy to use and retouch
these are currently £16 in the UK
my favorite shades are Two Ton Tomato, woppin watermelon and chunky cherry
Mac MSF soft and gentle:
Out of all the MSF I picked Soft and Gentle last time i was in debenhams because it was the most neutral color for my pale skin. I didn't want a bronzer because they can end up lookinf orange and muddy on my skintone, soft and gentle is a beautiful champagne color which leaves a nice golden/pink shimmer. The color also depends what light you are in. In natural light it gives you a pink shimmer and in artificial light it has more of a golden tone to it. I have swatched in natural light outside and inside too. I find the color is not very pigmented but buildable.
A little goes a loooooong way with this MSF. If you apply too much you will get a glitter overload with the attention being focused on any skin issues you may have. Start with a little and build up slowly although a couple of light taps with a brush on the powder and a gentle sweep on your skin is more than enough.
Soap and glory the righteous butter:
This is a nice thick moisturiser with Soap&Glory’s signature scent – a lovely floral scent. It’ll really help any dryness you have. It keeps you feeling moisturised and lovely all day long! The pot is quite big and will last you a long time as well. Only a small amount of the product is needed, due to the amazing high-quality.
I bought this on BUYAPOWA when it was on offer, i have used up about 3 pots of this and will continue to buy this because it is amazing.
Well i hope you have all enjoyed this post if you want to read more off me please visit my blog http://welshbeautyblog.blogspot.co.uk/ .
