Sam, the kitten, decided to use the rat cage as a jungle gym/perch from which to view the activity of our pet rats.
For the past few days, Sam and Sister (our new kittens) have been putting their paws into the rat cage, intently watching the rats, etc… the rats have often charged the kittens because they feel threatened. (no kidding! kitten claws COULD do some serious damage)
Apparently Sam pushed the envelope too far! While climbing about the rat cage one of the two rats decided to tell Sam who’s boss. Lets just say it wasn’t Sam. Sam screeched and scurried off with a bloody paw.
