Product: The Gucci Velours D'Ombre Mono Plushmono Eyeshadow that I have received is in the shade 05 Orange Illusion. It has 6 shades- a mix of full mattes, pearlesecent and shimmer.
My Experience: Gucci Velours D'Ombre Mono Plushmono Eyeshadow in Orange Illusion is a palette that everyone will love. The packaging is very sturdy. The magnifying mirror is superb too. The colours are so perfect for a beautiful smokey eye look. There is a lovely matte bronze brown shade, a matte copper shade,a Pearlescent blackish gray shade, a matte nude shade, a semi-shimmery khaki green shade, a shimmery silver shade. All the shades are very pigmented, except the blackish gray one. The shades are luxurious and blends like a dream. There is absolutely no fallout , no creasing , no melting. I have quite oily lids and generally colours tend to take some effort to show. But with Gucci Velours D'Ombre Mono Plushmono Eyeshadow, the colours just glide on the lids.
The makeup stays for a very long time, with absolutely no smudging. The texture of the shades are very fine and smooth, apt for a luxurious palette. The only problem is the dual ended applicator. Frankly, I would have preferred a brush applicator.
