What Does Guava Fragrance Oil Smell Like?
“Superfruit” fragrance oils are becoming very popular on the market due to the increased awareness of natural health. Besides guavas being considered superfruits due to their high content of vitamin C, vitamin A, carotenoids, and polyphenols, they also have a very appealing, tropical aroma. Natures Garden’s guava fragrance is a perfect tropical blend of guava, orange, papaya, peach, strawberry, and violet. Tropical delicious! Smells so good, you’ll think it is edible; but it is not.
How Do Our Customers Use Guava Fragrance Oil?
Our customers can use this fruity scent in a wide variety of bath and body products. Bath oils, bath gels, soaps, lotions, and many other related products can use up to 4% of this fragrance oil. Perfumes will perform perfectly, as long as the recipe uses no more than a 4% fragrance concentration. Further, any cold process soap makers are able to include this scent in their recipes. Our Cold Process Soap Testing Recipes have revealed that this fragrance oil is a great addition for cold process soap that will soap beautifully! A batch including this scent will have no acceleration, no separation, and no ricing. Further, the final product will maintain a strong scent and the bar will discolor to a cream hue. While there is a chance that the 0.1% vanillin content is contributing to the discoloration, there are more than 40 ingredients used in fragrance manufacturing that may contribute to discoloration of products. Thus, adding vanilla white stabilizer may prevent discoloration, but is not guaranteed to entirely prevent discoloration. If you want to add color to your candle products, then we suggest using either four drops of red liquid candle dye per four pounds of wax or using a small amount of shredded red color block into your melted wax.
Customers can use this tropical fruit scent in various room scenting products. Potpourri and incense can include up to 50% of this beachy scent in their recipes. Any homemade cleaning products created can use up to 4% of this scent in their personal recipes. Also, aroma beads will maintain a nice and strong scent for this fragrance oil. Candle products that use vegetable waxes and paraffin wax can include no more than 10% of this fragrance oil. While this fragrance is gel candle wax compatible, it is the customer’s responsibility to test each of their fragrances. The scent performs perfectly in joy wax and wow wax. The scent will remain nice and strong in soy wax. If you wish to color your candle creations, then we suggest using red soap dye in an amount that satisfies you.
