GTA Online developer Rockstar North has begun topping up the back accounts of players following the game’s disastrous start.
It follows the release of GTA Online update 1.05, which addresses several technical issues. Rockstar confirmed that the $500,000 compensation is being issued to players from today, and is being doled out in one lump sum, instead of two payments of 250K. Rockstar has stressed that while the money is going out from today, it could take a day or two to process. Everyone should have it by close of play Friday, however.
