GTA Online’s content creator beta will go live today, Rockstar has confirmed, and the studio has offered some further insight into the event types you can make, among other things.
It follows our confirmation that the GTA Online content creator will go live today, December 10, along with the tease that GTA 5 will see “significant” story DLC in 2014. Hit the link to check out the news.
Now, in a press release issued, Rockstarstated, “With access to some of the same tools as our own game design and development team, you can craft your own custom blood-soaked gunfights, high-octane street races, screaming jet dogfights and more.”
- Initial events include:
- Deathmatch
- Team Deathmatch
- Race
- GTA Race
- Rally Race
Created events that stand out from the pack will be labelled by the studio as ‘Rockstar Verified Jobs’ and showcased by the devs on its social channels.
Rockstar adds, “The Deathmatch and Race Creators will come to you via a free update, and you’ll need to have a Social Club account that is linked to your Xbox Live Gamertag or PlayStation Network ID to use them.”
GTA Online heists seem to be coming along. Rockstar offers, “We know many of you in the GTA Online community are super excited for the debut of co-operative Heists. Heists are currently in development and we are working very hard to get them as polished and as fun as they can be. Stay tuned for much more detail in the New Year.”
