GTA 5 PS4/Xbox One 'downgrade' bug to be fixed in new patch
Rockstar is investigating an issue currently affecting the "graphical quality" of the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Grand Theft Auto 5, the developer has said.
Issues with the game's graphics were discovered following the release of title update 1.08 last week, with players reporting 'downgraded' visual effects, including changes made to collisions, parallax occlusion and texture filtering.
Some believed that the changes may have been intended to improve performance, but in an update on the developer's website Rockstar confirmed that it was "investigating a fix".
"We are aware of some graphical issues on the Xbox One and PS4 versions of GTAV after the most recent Title Update, and we are investigating a fix now," the developer wrote.
