Groggy Writes: Leni Riefenstahl and Tiefland

Groggy writes: Leni Riefenstahl and TieflandPerhaps you're wondering why I've been watching so many Nazi-era flicks recently. Mainly because I've been preparing an article on Leni Riefenstahl's Tiefland for Sound on Sight. It's taken me about a month to research and write this article. A shame that the film itself isn't very good, but the story behind it is twisted enough to justify the time!
The article's broken into two segments, here:
Part I: Leni Riefenstahl's Impossible Dream: profile of Riefenstahl, the film's production
Part II: Leni Riefenstahl: Reclaiming Tiefland: in which Leni fights to recover the film and salvage her reputation.
Thanks to Rick and everyone at Sound on Sight for their support and indulgence. I'm proud to write for such a great website.
Will Groggy now turn to cheerier subjects? Doubtful; I haven't reviewed the Nazi Titanic yet, after all!
