As evidenced by his 2011 LP I Don’t Believe You, Brooklyn dwelling UK-native Greg Holden is a captivating and enchanting artist.  His material manages to tip toe the line between heartfelt ballads and brutally realistic folk jams, resulting in his music’s wide spread appeal.

I was very fortunate to be given the opportunity to film with him just two weeks ago.  It was a beautiful evening in Brooklyn, so we took to my friend’s rooftop where Greg Holden was joined by Dan Molad (drums) and Jess Wolfe (vocals) of fellow Brooklyn band Lucius.  The trio proceeded to perform two songs for me and the moon.

Special thanks to Derek Eads for another amazing illustration.  For more of his work, click here.

‘Honey I’m Home’ is a live session series made by The Wild Honey Pie.  With each new episode, we welcome a different band into Sounds Like A Fire home studio in Brooklyn and record intimate versions of two or three songs which are given away for free.
