When you both work in the hotel business, it must be very hard to chose the hotel for your wedding. Nicole & Ian chose the fantastic Great Fosters in Egham. Just a few minutes from their house. Being a winter wedding, they had an early ceremony. When I got to the boys, they were all in great spirits. Often the boys struggle with cravats but when you have a kilt and everything that goes with it, its a whole new set of skills just to get dressed! Ian had given the 2 best men and his father a gift basket with whisky and other resents along with cufflinks that tied South Africa where he grew up and London.
Nicole had one of the largest room I have ever seen a bride getting ready in. I always try and photograph the dress in an unusual place and I only had to go outside her room to get the spiral staircase to photograph it from both above and below! The ceremony was lovely. You can see they are made for each other. The weather didn’t dampen anyones spirits and once again I have to thank a couple for braving the elements to get a few signature shots that I hope will look great in their album. The recetion room was decorated in fantastic wild flowers finished off by the most amazing cake.
The whole day was incredibly relaxed. The DJ kept everyone dancing while the photo booth drew a great crowd. Here is a selection of images from their day. Please feel free to leave any comments or message for Nicole and Ian.
