Grapefruit Mango Fragrance Oil is a Natures Garden original scent! This scrumptious fragrance has a true, fruity aroma that is a perfect balance of awakening grapefruit and mouth watering mango! Our customers find that this fruity fragrance oil is hard to beat, using it in so many of their homemade bath and body recipes. One customer states, “I used this in soy wax with great success…but now I used it in body butter, soap, and salts and it is flying off the shelves! Great summery scent!”
What Does Grapefruit Mango Fragrance Oil Smell Like?
When our perfumist presented Natures Garden with this fragrance oil, we were in awe! Refreshing, exotic, with just the right amount of Japanese grapefruit. Grapefruit mango fragrance begins with top notes of Japanese grapefruit, ruby red grapefruit, and mango; followed by middle notes of cucumber and honeydew melon; and sits on a dry down of vanilla. How Do Our Customers Use Grapefruit Mango Fragrance Oil?
Homemade room scent makers can use this fruity fragrance oil in many of their creations. For instance, incense and potpourri can use up to 50% of this scent in recipes. Also, any cleaning products may include up to 5% for this fragrance oil. Additionally, this scent will perform nice and strong when used in aroma beads.
Our customers that are candle crafters can successfully use this fragrance in their creations as well. As long as the candles are made of either vegetable waxes or paraffin wax, then they may include up to 10% of this fragrance oil. This mango grapefruit scent performs perfectly in our Pillar of Bliss Wax. Also, this scent is nice and strong in soy wax. If you want to color your candle products, we suggest using either two drops of red liquid candle dye along with two drops of orange liquid candle dye or a small amount of shredded red color block along with orange color block per 4 pounds of wax. Remember that you should never use crayons to color your candles as they will clog your wick.
Our customers who create bath and body products can use this citrus scent as well. Bath oils, bath gels, soaps, and lotions can all contain up to 5% of this fragrance oil in their recipes. Also, perfumes will perform perfectly as long as they include no more than 5% of this scent. If you wish to color your bath and body products, then we suggest using red liquid soap dye along with orange liquid soap dye in the amount you desire.
While cold process soaps can technically be created using this body safe fragrance oil, we at Natures Garden do not recommend the scent to be used for soaping with this method. From our personal soap testing results, we have found that this fragrance oil does not perform in a way that we would expect from one of our scents. Therefore, we don’t feel that this particular scent should be used by our customers in cold process soap formulations. Further, we have not tested this fragrance in hot process soap, but this could potentially be a better alternative to the cold process soaping method. However, due to our lack of testing, we can’t accurately recommend the hot process soaping method as a preferable alternative to cold process soap.
