Gracie Drops First Single off Debut Lp [free Mp3]

This past Tuesday, Philadelphia’s Gracie dropped the first single off his looming debut LP, Bleeders, due out later this year on Small Plates Records.  Bleeders follows two excellent EP’s, For Summer and Treehouse on Absent Fever Records and Small Plates Records respectively.  The single,  “Creature Pleaser” is possibly Balasia’s strongest vocal performance yet;  growth manifested through confidence while managing to maintain the humility that is so attractive about one man bedroom pop projects like Youth Lagoon or Oregon Bike Trails.  Though, don’t be deceived by the catchy choruses and shimmering synths, Gracie’s lyrics are often darker than the production leads on.  Grab the free download below and look out for the LP on Small Plates Records.
