Gorgeous Cosmetics ‘Have It All’ Brush Set – Review

Today I’ll be sharing my thoughts on the Gorgeous Cosmetics ‘Have It All’ Brush Set! As well as providing this set as one of the prizes for the big Christmas giveaway I held recently, I was also kindly given a set of the brushes so I thought I’d let you all know what I think of the set as it definitely is great value!

The ‘Have It All’ Brush Set is a $201 value that retails for only $49.00 and contains 5 full sized brushes in total – #025 Foundation Brush, #012 Angled Liner Brush, #B111 Shadow Blender Brush, #017 Medium Chisel Brush and a #029 Medium Powder Brush. The set comes beautifully packed in a box and each brush is individually packaged with the 2 larger brushes also coming with their own brush guards.

I really love this set because it contains all the brushes you really need to complete a full face of makeup! There’s a foundation brush, a powder brush that can be used to apply a setting powder, blush, bronzer and even highlight whist you also have 2 brushes for your eyeshadow – one to pack color onto the lid and one to blend out with. Finally you also have an angled liner brush that can be used for liner as well as doubling up as lip liner brush to help you achieve a crisp, straight lip line.

The brushes feature smooth, thin handles and matte black ferrules that not only make the brushes easy to use but also look great! The hairs on the brushes are all soft and pick up and apply product really well. My favourites from the set would have to be the #029 Medium Powder Brush which is such a soft and fluffy brush that’s lovely to use while the #012 Angled Liner Brush has short, dense hairs that make the overall brush very thin, allowing for precise liner application for whatever thickness of eyeliner you desire.

The brushes are great quality and stand up very well after being washed numerous times as they maintain their soft hairs and haven’t shed at all. A few hairs on the #B111 Shadow Blender Brush have frayed a little, though I do usually notice blending brushes seem to fray more often than others.

Overall, I think this is a great brush set for those who may be younger, those who are looking for a few quality brushes that can be relied on to do the job and even beauty lovers will come to appreciate how lovely these brushes are! The Gorgeous Cosmetics ‘Have It All’ Brush Set at $49.00 (valued at $201) is great value and a perfect gift idea!
