Gordi’s vocal tone immediately sets her apart — her bio compares her to Carole King or Laura Marling, but I immediately heard Annie Lennox. It’s a distinct, husky voice that inspires curiosity, and she spends most of her time within a deep, resonant range. “Can We Work It Out” is only the third released track from this 22 year old Sydney-based artist.
