Google has teamed up with Intel to bring a new lineup of Chromebooks powered with Intel’s powerful Haswell processors, making these devices much faster and more power-saving than any other in the series.
These four powerful new Chromebooks are being made separately by Acer, HP, ASUS and Toshiba, and expected to roll out in the “coming months.” Tech specs and details of the ASUS Chromebox mini-desktop and Toshiba’s devices haven’t been revealed yet, but Google claims that these “devices offer superb battery life and a variety of new designs—from a light and portable Acer Chromebook, to the large display on the HP Chromebook14.”

Official pricing or availability details remains a mystery. However, Ars Technica suggests that the new Acer Chromebook will go for $199 and HP Pavilion Chromebook for $330, which are the current pricing of the non-Haswell devices.
