Google News: Price Drop for Drive Subscriptions and 4K Videos on YouTube

“Today, thanks to a number of recent infrastructure improvements, we’re able to make it more affordable for you to keep everything safe and easy to reach on any device, from anywhere,” Google’s Scott Johnston stated on a blog post. “How big is a terabyte anyway? Well, that’s enough storage for you to take a selfie twice a day for the next 200 years and still have room left over for… shall we say… less important things.”

You can now upgrade your Google Drive through here. The best part is that if you’ve already paid for a subscription, you’ll be automatically move to a better plan at no additional cost.

In other news, YouTube has announced that its’ adding support for 4K resolution videos. Now in addition to 720p HD and 1080p Full HD videos you can upload 1440p Original HD videos. Google has finally rolled out the feature globally after it was announced back in January at 2014 at CES in Las Vegas.
