I was looking forward to hearing some news about the rumored Moto X phone at the secret Google Motorola event, which actually turned out to be super secret because Google decided to keep all the details to a minimum. However, the phone was spotted at the event but it wasn’t very clear. Now, we have some close-ups of this device being used by Google’s chairman Eric Schmidt.

According to TechnoBuffalo, these surfaced photos shows Schmidt using his phone, while he was attending Allen and Co media conference in Sun Valley, Idaho. It’s not that hard to recognize that he is actually using the rumored Moto X phone as it has already been seen in the wild.
This bought several other rumors to my attention, especially the one from Cnet which shows a leaked document containing Verizon’s launch schedule that states the Moto X to “go to market” on August 23. So, it’s possible we may get to see this Moto X phone as early as next month. Then again, these reports aren’t officially verified, yet.
