Google’s Android is undoubtedly the most popular mobile operating system in the world. Its’ popularity seems to be increasing everyday as Google’s executive chairman Eric Schmidt claims that there are over 1.5 million Android devices are being activated every day.
Android is all about the freedom of choice. Unlike Apple, Android gives you a wide range devices to choose from. You are not limited to just one device based on the same operating system. Which is why Google is seeing this success with Android. Schmidt expects to hit 1 billion Android activation’s per day by the end of this year, probably with the help of their upcoming Nexus devices.
