Good Friday!

-How can you be sure that our marriage is not meant to be broken up here and now? I was asked that question not long ago. The question came from a wife who for a year had an affair behind the back of her family and friends. 

I was answered her with the same answer we have answered many times before when a similar question is asked,

-It’s not Family & Friends mission to bring in divorce as an option. Need to be said: We have a deep respect for the people who take the decision to go their separate ways. And don’t put shame and guilt on people who decide to divorce. No, we know that God is much bigger than that. The God we believe in is the Lord of all and victorious everywhere, even over the divorce and separation.

But back to our mission and family & friends calling. We never go into a conflict and a marriage crisis with an attitude. So, we’ll see what God has planned for this couple!

The couple who get in touch with us, always has a total vindication and restoration ahead. Because that it is the faith that we have been anointed with. It is the belief that we fight with. Our belief that we are in authority, and our communion with the Holy Spirit of God is the weapon we use to fight for the restoration and resurrection of marriages and families. How broken and wounded and hopeless it looks on paper.

But of course many times will we become tired, many times we feel like giving up especially when we see how a husband and wife, once loving in words and deeds refuses to let go of pride prestige and the right to accuse the other’s actions.

BUT there is a difference between being tired and give up. There is a difference between wanting to give up and feel hopeless. Hopeless? no, never do. For we can’t exclude the fact that when Jesus died for you and for me! He did it with victory and of authority. he did it with the words:

-It is finished!

Seconds from taking his last breath, it was probably more of a gentle whisper than a powerful roar. But whisper or not, everything changed. Satan knows by those words that his power over your and my future is broken, the power of your and my illness is destroyed, the power of your and my sin is destroyed, the power of all your and my conflicts is dead.

But do you know?

“The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.” John 10:10

Do not allow the enemy to steal more of the life that is planned and created in love for you. A life that is possible for you and me because he loved all the way to death. Maybe you think that love is dead in your life …. But wait and see how the power of the resurrection wakes, heals and brings back to life.
