I’m not sure what LG’s definition of “pocket-sized” is, but you’re gonna need one hell of a pocket to carry their new G-Pad  tablet  that comes with a big 8.3-inch display, which touts “Pocket-Sized Portability.” Despite the sleek pablet like design, I can’t even imagine this device fitting into any pocket. At least not in my pants.

LG unveiled their new and company’s first tablet in two years, the LG G-Pad 8.3 tablet. On the inside, this one comes with an 1.7GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 1920 x 1200 WUXGA display resolution with a powerful a 4600mAh battery and runs on Android 4.2.2. According to LG’s press release, it’s the “ first 8-inch class tablet to offer a Full HD display.” But, it seems to be failing to deliver the selling point.

Just as TechnoBuffalo predicts, the device is most likely to head out in the holiday season. More details about the the LG G Pad 8.3 will be revealed next week at the IFA 2013 trade show in Berlin. Hopefully, at the event we’ll see if this device actually fits into any pants.
