Gone Home announced for Xbox One and PS4, likely coming later this year
Criticially acclaimed PC indie game Gone Home will be coming to consoles in 2014, developer's The Fullbright Company has confirmed.
The Fullbright Company's Steve Gaynor did not specifically comment on which consoles Gone Home would be available on, but mention of Trophies, Achievements and the PS4's sharing functionality would suggest that Gone Home will be released on PS4 and Xbox One.
"There are Trophies and there [are] Achievements, but there’s also new features with the new consoles. The PS4 is all about sharing, for instance," Gaynor toldIGN.
"It’s less about what we can add, what we can change. It’s, 'How can we make it the best version you could possibly play on the hardware you’ve got on your living room?'," Gaynor continued.
Gaynor also confirmed that The Fullbright Company's next game will not be Gone Home 2. "I can say it won’t be Gone Home 2, but I can also say it’ll be us continuing to explore the kind of interactive experiences we started with Gone Home," said Gaynor.
