Gold Side Tables

I am absolutely smitten over the gold side tables out there.  Love, love, love! Well, since I was debating whether or not to rid of my old side tables anyways, I figured I'd DIY some gold tables with those.  
Here's the before:

A little dinged up and completely ready for a makeover.

I used the Krylon Gold spray paint.

And here's the after:


The result:  I kind of really dig them now.  So they're staying! What do you think?

They're quite the statement with my pineapple lamp.  As you can see, I changed the lamp shade to a basic white for a monochromatic effect.
