As we set out on this frozen new year of 2014, let’s have one last look back at 2013 and see what the best selling appliances were for the last three months here at Goedeker’s.

Top 10 Best Selling Refrigerators

Frigidaire NFTR18X4PS 18.2 Cu. Ft. Stainless Steel Top Freezer Refrigerator

There was some shakeup this quarter since the previous quarter’s top sellers in refrigerators. Our best selling refrigerator from the third quarter, the GE PFE29PSDSS Profile 28.6 Cu. Ft. Stainless Steel French Door Refrigerator fell to 7th place – even as it was named the best refrigerator of 2013.by Reviewed.com.

With the exception of the top-selling, top freezer Frigidaire Frigidaire NFTR18X4PS Refrigerator   and the steady top seller, the freezerless refrigeratgor Frigidaire FPRH19D7LF this was definitely season for french door refrigerators.

Among side-by-side refrigerators, the  Samsung RSG257AARS 24.1 Cu. Ft. Stainless Steel Counter Depth Side-By-Side Refrigerator  slips to second place, and is one of only 2 Samsung model in the top 5 this time, after Samsung had 3 of the top 5 spots last quarter.

Whirlpool has 2 models make the top 5, the Whirlpool GSC25C6EYY 24.6 Cu. Ft. Stainless Steel Counter Depth Side-By-Side Refrigerator which was tied in fifth place with the Samsung RSG307AARS 29.6 Cu. Ft. Stainless Steel Side-By-Side Refrigerator.

The GE CGS990SETSS Cafe 30″ Stainless Steel Gas Sealed Burner Double Oven Range again holds the top spot for best selling oven range. Also, once again, all of the top 5 best sellers are convection ovens.

While no dual-fuel ranges made the top 5, the  GE PHS920SFSS Profile Induction Range broke into the top five as the first induction range to make the top sellers list here at Goedeker’s.

Last quarter, the top selling wall oven was discontinued by the end of the quarter. The KitchenAid KEMS309BSS Architect II 30″ Stainless Steel Electric Combination Wall Oven moved up to the top spot (it was number 2 in the third quarter) and models from Bosch, Whirlpool, and Frigidaire rounded out the top sellers. Note that again we had a tie for the #5 spot.

It is interesting to note that all of the top sellers in this category are either combination wall ovens, which include a microwave, or double wall ovens. Efficiency of space is apparently important to our customers when choosing a wall oven.

In the third quarter, upright freezers were definitely more popular than chest freezers. In the fourth quater, though, chest freezers made a comeback. While there is again a 3-way tie for fifth place, three different models of chest freezer made the top 5.

Frigidaire FPUH19D7LF Professional 18.6 Cu. Ft. Stainless Steel Upright Freezer again tops the list this month, which is not surprising when you consider it is the matching freezer for the freezerless refrigerator that was our #4 top selling refrigerator again this quarter as well.
