Goedekers.com is proud to announce the grand prize winner of our 2017 Public Service Scholarship: James Sitter
After escaping a troubled home and one false start at college, Jame enlisted in the Army. He completed a couple of tours of duty in Afghanistan and was awarded the Purple Heart.
What James says about himself: I am currently a Junior at the University of South Carolina. I am a prior Army medic and now in school for Pre-medical with the hopes of attending medical school. I am married to my beautiful wife, also pictured, and we are soon expecting our first child.
The Goedeker's family thanks James for his service and hopes he realizes his dream of becoming a doctor.
