Today, we happy to announce that the Goedeker's Annual Culinary Scholarship for 2019 goes to Abigail Carter!
Abigail has been enamored with the Culinary Arts since she was young. As soon as she was able to, she started baking in her family's kitchen.
From her essay: "Growing up, I remember watching my mother bake and decorate extravagant cakes and wedding cakes. I was always fascinated with her precision and expertise in the art. She would spend hours upon hours in the kitchen to ensure her cakes were nothing short of spectacular. Baking and pastry arts has been my passion since I was very young."
Abigail will be attending the International Culinary Center in New York to study Professional Pastry Arts.
