Chinagorom C. Louis is the First Honorable Mention recipient of the 2017 Goedeker's Annual Book Scholarship. We are excited to present here with the $100 award.
Chinagorom plans to attend Prairie View A&M in the fall. Her big heart and desire to help others in need led her to choose Mechanical Engineering as her major to study in college. She plans to use those studies to create top of the line prosthetics that will help the people who need it most.
In her essay, she said,"It takes a pencil and a brain to change the world, and becoming an engineer is my way to do just that."
Everyone here at Goedeker's hopes and prays she will change the world for the better.
