Go Slow, Video Release and 5 Quick Questions with A is for Arrows

By Phjoshua @thereviewsarein

Toronto electro-pop duo (Alessia B Nole & Eric Robbs) have released the official music video for their latest single, Go Slow. And to celebrate, to asked Alessia about the song, and got her to play a round of 5 Quick Questions with us!

Already described as a "delightfully dreamy track, exploring the delicate evolution of a brand new love", Go Slow is a jam. I like it a lot. And the video is an excellent companion to the song.

The pop track and catchy beats are paired with vulnerable and relatable lyrics that Alessia delivers flawlessly from start to finish. The groove might get caught in your head and you may find yourself tapping your toes too. Be warned.

Hit play on the video for Go Slow now to check it out.

When asked about Go Slow, Alessia said, "I like to think that on a very rare occasion, I can be the confident person that I envision in my head. Go slow is that song for me. It's the mirror image of the scared and insecure human looking back, it's the self-assured, self- aware and fearless version of myself.

The one that doesn't take no for an answer, the girl that will go up to anyone in anyplace and have a conversation and not because they aren't afraid, but because they stare their fears in the face and go right through."

She continued, "This song is meant to inspire and empower, I think of it as my own personal female anthem. It's fun, it's light hearted, it's confident but it also has this underlayer of vulnerability.

Meeting someone you're meant to be with is exciting and scary at the same time. I had to jump. I had to throw caution to the wind and dive in head first- In my case...it worked out and i'm so happy I took that chance on this person."

Thank you to Alessia for chatting, and for playing along with us (from the safety of her own home) in 5 Quick Questions. Hit play to find out which artists she'd love to work with, which albums she loves from front to back, and more!
