Every morning I wake up to face new challenges in life. I am a student and a blogger. I need to keep a balance between both and give time to both equally. Thank to different gadgets that help us to make our task a little easier like I can draft a post on my smartphone when I’m free at class and edit in on my laptop later. I can check emails, reply to them, browse and stay connected with family and friends. Recently I was planning to get a new laptop for me. I was bored with my old black laptop and it was too big and heavy to carry around. I switched on my old laptop, took a cup of coffee and started my search for the perfect laptop that will have all the latest features in it, must be cost effective, lightweight and come in different color other than the boring black.
I browsed through Asus website and shortlisted two laptops, actually a notebook, Asus Eebook X205TA and an all in one PC, ET2040 . After a lot of comparison and calculations, I settled down for the Asus Eebook X205TA because:
- It is has a sleek design and it is lightweight! It weighs less than a kilo. This is what I was searching for… I can carry it around with ease. It comes with a 2-cell battery that provides up to 12 hour battery life so I can keep blogging and surfing without worrying about draining the charge soon
- The Asus Eebook X205 TA comes with a year long free subscription to full versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Access, Publisher and OneNote, along with 1 TB of online cloud storage. This means I can do my projects and presentations for college with ease.

I have chosen it over The Asus all in one PC ET 2040 because of the following:
1. I was looking for a slim and lightweight laptop/ tablet and The Asus Eebook x205TA is lighter than the all in one PC by Asus ( 1kg vs. 3.5 kg), more compact and portable
2. The all in one PC has HD LED Backlit Led display only while the X205 comes with an anti glare technology so it won’t affect my eyes even if i work for long hours.
3. The Eebook comes with a year long subscription of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint etc unlike the all in one PC by Asus and i am happy with my touch screen phone, I do not need a touch screen laptop now.
4. The all in one PC comes in a single color while there are different vibrant colors to choose from Asus X205 and fits my budget.
