I’m still going strong with this adventurous streak. Today I review a wig with 3 colors! It’s the GLS25 wig from Friday Night Hair (FNH). This is my second Friday Night Hair review. GLS25…LONGEST WIG REVIEW EVA!
I picked up this unit for $49 a few months ago. I actually filmed the video review Thanksgiving night. I’ve just been slacking which is why it has taken me so long to put up this review.

3 COLORS – 1 UNIT
The GLS25 has 3 colors. Yes…1-2-3!! It’s sportin’ (1) ash blonde (2) honey blonde and (3) deep brown. The wig has a ton of volume even for a curly unit. It’s about 24 inches long and has some layering around the frame of the face.
I HATE HARD LACE FRONT WIGS
The GLS25 lacefront wig has hard lace which you will need to remove prior to wearing. I really don’t like hard lace front wigs. But I love the quality of FNH so much that I overlook it. Hard lacefront can damage your hair over time which is why soft lace wigs are usually more expensive. The hairline is ok as you will be able to see in the video review which is in this post. The part is about 2 1/2 to 3 inches and I didn’t find a need to tweeze any hairs. The part looked realistic enough in my opinion.
GIVING YOU LION — QUEEN?
It’s giving my lion…seriously. Like I went to Simba and Mufasa’s hair stylist. But this wig can be tamed! I stored it with heavy ponytail holders for a couple of days and it flattened out quite a bit. I added the tiniest amount of styling mousse to it as well. The end result was bombshell!! You can see me rocking the wig {after I tamed it} in my living single in 2015 post / video.
BOMBSHELL HAIR, WIG WITH ATTITUDE
The GLS25 is all about a “wow factor”. If your not fond of big, bodacious hair, this wig is not for you. It’s a lot of hair and it does require some work to get it just right.
GLS25 IS LIKE PERUVIAN HAIR
The texture of hair in this wig soft — very similar to Peruvian hair. When you first get the unit, the curls are super bouncy – not tight. I wouldn’t recommend combing or “fingering” through the curls out. That would make the wig even fuller YIKES! The GLS25 does have combs. There are 2 in the front near the temples and one in the back as well as an adjustable strap.
