I was sent one to review thanks to Tomoson.com and Glow Bug Cloth Diapers. The pattern is a super cute monkey and bananas for my baby boy. I was sent one diaper and two inserts for the review.

Being that this is my first cloth diaper, I made sure to do my homework before even touching the diaper. Luckily, everything I needed to know is right on GlowBugClothDiapers.com! There I found care instructions, which include washing the diaper and inserts first to remove any manufacturing residue and to prep the diaper. The directions are very easy to follow. After washing my diaper and prepping it, I watched this video to determine how I should adjust the size for the baby.

I used the Glow Bug Cloth diaper on my son, who is now 8 months old. I fitted the diaper as I learned from the video. He was super wiggly, as you can see. I kept it at extra large, thinking that would be the best fit for him since he's a big baby.

He wore the diaper for about an hour the first time. I noticed that his outfit was wet, though, when I went to change him. He had soaked through the one insert and the diaper. I think it was because I left it on the extra large size. My mistake!I washed it according to the instructions and tried it again the next day. That time, I made the diaper into the medium size by adjusting the snaps. He again wore the diaper for an hour or so before I changed him. This time, only the diaper was wet, so I knew that I had the right sizing and it wasn't the diaper that had leaked. Lesson learned! If I decide to completely switch to cloth, I will definitely consider a set of Glow Bug Cloth diapers! Interested?
