Glipho: The Cool New Blogging Platform You Haven’t Heard Of.. Yet

Posted on the 25 May 2013 by Nrjperera @nrjperera

Blogging is not as cool as it used to be. This is something my friends tell me everyday. Well, it’s partially true because these days its’ easier to update status on Facebook or post a Tweet than going trough the pain of creating and maintaining a blog. Although, there are some other passionate internet surfers out there who like to have more than just 140 characters to share their thoughts, and start a conversation. I think the new social blogging platform, Glipho is the perfect place for those people to start blogging, without having to create a blog.

After blogging for over two years (still blogging), I know how hard it is to find the best place to host a blog, and then a good theme for the blog, also to customize it, find the perfect font and the hardest part, getting people to follow your blog and to get some comments on your posts. But, with Glipho, you don’t need to worry about all that. You can just sign up using your Facebook, Twitter, Google or LinkedIn profile and start blogging right away.

Glipho is basically a hub community for bloggers, with the main focus on writing. Sort of like Hubpages and Squidoo. But, only better because Glipho lets you create an audience and discover, share more with other writers. Since the launch in late 2012, Glipho has come a long way in just several months to have thousands of users from over 75 different countries. It’s obvious that this small blogging community is growing pretty fast, everyday.

The Pinterest-like homepage on Glipho makes it easier to find the most popular articles on the site and also features some of the best writers on the trending section. Unlike those complicated content creating systems in other blogging platforms, Glipho has a simplified way to create posts called “Desk”. With just a simple click I was able to start writing my first Gliph. And to my surprise  I received good response from others and a lot of views in just a couple of hours along with a few comments. After that I wrote several other Gliphs and managed to get few followers as well. The end result – I’ve decided to write a Gliph every day because I love it there.

Head over to Glipho and check it out, I’m sure you’ll love it. Also, don’t forget to follow my Gliph.
