This dress for instance. I randomly saw it while I was looking through Google Images, I don't even remember what I was looking for but it just caught my eye, maybe it's something to do with the fact that it has a huge Giraffe on the front!
I searched for the dress and found it belonged to the Dee V by Diana Vickers collection for Very.co.uk. I really wanted it, so I asked Rich if he liked it, don't know why I still ask because I often know the answer I'll get before I do, needless to say he raised his eyebrows in disapproval and I still loved it.
This is the bit where it was meant to be......
A couple of months back Rich got a voucher from our local Spar, it was for £30 off when you spend £60 or more on your first credit order with Very. When I found it it was still in date. Hallelujah!!
I got this dress and one from the Holly Willoughby collection and they are both really nice! I had a really good shopping experience with Very and that'll get it's own post very soon!
I wore this dress out for Saturday night tea and drinks with Rich, Khila and Lee. It's really comfortable and I really love the print. I got this dress in a size UK10. I thought with it being a Diana Vickers dress it would be a smaller UK10 and was scared it wouldn't fit, my logic being that she's really slim, however, it is a larger UK10 so if you are between a UK8 and UK10 then I'd probably recommend sizing down!
The shift style of the dress is really flattering as it skims past any/ all problem areas, although I'm quite small chested, so I think If you're a C cup or larger, you'd have to probably size up to get your boobs in, bit of a dilemma when the dress it on the larger size to start with!!
The only other thing I'd like to mention are the arms. The arms are cut slightly longer than a cap sleeve and because of that they cut my arm in the wrong place, so it was a bit tighter in that area. As most women will probably agree, the old arms could do with a little toning and it didn't make the dress uncomfortable I was just a bit conscious of it!
