Ginger Garlic Chicken - Kerala Style: When it comes to Chicken, all of us like to try new versions. I love that way too. But I have a personal choice if its made in Kerala style with coconut oil. 500 g of cleaned de skinned chicken 3 tablespoon of chilly powder 6 tablespoon of coriander powder (un roasted) 1 tablespoon of ginger garlic paste 1 teaspoon of turmeric 6 tablespoon of coconut oil 5 tablespoon of sliced ginger strips 5 tablespoon of sliced garlic 6 sliced green chilly 1 onion thinly sliced
Method:
Marinate chicken with chilly powder, coriander powder, ginger garlic paste and turmeric powder. Do not add water as chicken will have enough moisture to coat masala. Set aside for 1 hour.
Heat a kadai with coconut oil. Fry ginger, garlic, green chilly strips along with onion slices. Let these ingredients get well fried.
Add marinated chicken and let it cook for 20 minutes with occasional stirring Once the gravy thickens, add salt and the chicken become dry. Serve hot.
