Ginger and the Ghost Release New Installment of ‘choose Your Own Dreamstate’ [video]

Ginger and the Ghost are back with the second visual installment, called “The Race Forever”, of their three-part, multi-video concept, Choose Your Own Dreamstate, for their new single, “The Red Balloon”. Though this description is a mouthful, Ginger and the Ghost make the video easy to swallow with the spontaneous and instinctive nature of both the song and the visual production. Shot guerrilla style with the help of Nick Maher, the video was filmed during the band’s US tour and features unsettling visual layering of Ginger looking like a lost bird, as she searches for the Ghost through the streets of NYC and Hollywood Boulevard. The song parallels this impulsive sincerity with softly plucked guitars that provide a mystical background to powerful vocals expressing eccentric lyrics.
