Gift Guide: Delicacies Jewelry for the Epicurean

By Christina Carathanassis @cbellescloset

Delicacies Jewelry, the first full-line of jewelry for epicureans and food lovers Delicacies Jewelry is the first full-line of jewelry for epicureans and food lovers alike. Delicacies believes all food has unique, intrinsic energies, and if you’ve ever eaten a home-cooked meal, you know that food is love.

The brand, which started with a signature ingredient, cast in sterling silver and affixed to a finished band of rich, supple leather, has now evolved to add exciting new categories such as the new 14K gold, silver and diamond pendants. Carefully designed, crafted and created by Co-Founder and Designer Nicolle Nelson, each ingredient celebrates the natural beauty, mythology, simplicity and meaning ingrained in the food we eat.

Sharing food with others brings a wealth of benefits. These moments help us make friends, find love and end hostility…So let’s share the love one necklace at a time. The 14K gold pendants will be available in the following ingredients: basil, carrot, chicken, chili pepper, corn, crab, fish, garlic, ginger, octopus, olive, pig, pineapple, tomato, wheat, and a 3D egg and the retail price ranges from $160 – $400 (They also have bracelets under $100). A gold chain will also be available to purchase separately for $65.00.

Nicolle Nelson, co-founder and Designer describes, “In the symbolic language of ancient alchemy, gold represents transformation and transcendence. Gold is eternal, immutable. We are excited to introduce this enduring element to our Delicacies offerings. ”

Options include from Diamond Pave pendants to gold pendants to leather bracelets for men and women featuring their ingredient du jour under $100. And though Padma Lakshmi is a fan of the diamond pave chile – we have to say our favorite from the line is the octopus!
