Alright, alright. Happy Monday! Happy Monday after Royal Rumble and Happy Monday Night RAW. LOL!
If you haven't noticed, we have been on that WWE wrestling train for almost a year now, and it really isn't stopping. Christmas was all about the wrestling Superstars for both my son and daughter. It is something that I thought was going to just fade away, after our first Monday Night Raw experience, but we have embraced it as a family and now have some great memories from this time spent together.
Anyway, I know that you watched the Royal Rumble last night like my family and I did. Right? So you must be excited to see Roman Reigns and Brock Lesner duke it out at Wrestlemania. Well, the WWE is giving your kids a chance to see it in person by participating in the WrestleMania Reading Challenge!
The WrestleMania Reading Challenge is an annual online contest designed to get kids excited about reading and writing. Beginning January 12 and running through February 22, students ages 4-18 can read online with a WWE Superstar reading buddy or write to a WWE Superstar pen pal for the chance to win fantastic prizes, including a trip to WrestleMania 31, or a WWE Championship title!
My kids each completed the challenge one night before bed, on our iPad. Easy and fun. And they did their extra reading without any questions, just to see what would happen when they finished!
It's easy, first go to the website: WrestleMania Reading Challenge, enter birthdate, and choose your reading buddy.
Of course, my twins pick the twins: the Bella Twins and the Usos. It lists cute facts like their own favorite books, subjects and what they wanted to be when they grew up.
They read their digital book online, got a message from their Reading Buddy, and a certificate! We were all winning, in my book. I hope you get to participate, too!
By the way, I love that WWE partnered with We Give Books. They are a great resource for reading Spanish digital books for kids, online, and free.
